i have been interested in photography for many years, and in 2018 I was able to do a one year course in Visual Arts (photography) at Oxygen College here in Ballarat. My preference is to use a DSLR camera, which I still use today, My choice of brand is Nikon. I have a small range of lenses for the camera, but the one I use the most is the 18-140mm telephoto lens. It is what I call my all-day lens, providing a wide range down to 18mm while also a having a reasonable telephoto factor.
Unfortunately, I'm not an early riser and I don't like the wet weather, so my photos are taken in the afternoon or early in the evening.
I take photos on a fairly regular basis, but sometimes it might be a couple of months between shoots. I prefer photos of buildings and landscapes. I've tried portrait photography, but its not my cup of tea.
